Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your Pulse account and data.

Important: Account deletion is permanent

Once your account is deleted, all your data including check-in history, insights, partner connections, and subscription information will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

1Delete from the App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Pulse app:

  1. Open the Pulse app on your device
  2. Go to Settings (tap your profile icon or the gear icon)
  3. Scroll down and tap Account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision when prompted
  6. Enter your password to verify your identity

Your account and all associated data will be scheduled for deletion immediately.

2Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

Please include the following information in your email:

  • The email address associated with your Pulse account
  • Your full name as it appears on your account
  • A statement confirming you want to delete your account

We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, email, profile picture)
  • All check-in responses and history
  • AI conversation history with Maya
  • Relationship insights and trends
  • Partner connection and shared data
  • Subscription and payment history
  • App preferences and settings

Deletion Timeline

Processing Time
  • Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and you will be logged out
  • Within 30 days: All personal data is permanently deleted from our primary systems
  • Within 90 days: Data is removed from backup systems

Note: Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes but cannot be linked back to you.

Active Subscriptions

If you have an active subscription:

  • iOS (App Store): Deleting your Pulse account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel through your Apple ID subscriptions settings to avoid future charges.
  • Web/Stripe: Your subscription will be automatically cancelled when your account is deleted.

We recommend cancelling your subscription before deleting your account to ensure you're not charged after deletion.

Before You Go

If you're having issues with the app, there may be alternatives to deleting your account:

  • Pause notifications: Turn off reminders in Settings instead of deleting
  • Disconnect partner: You can remove your partner connection while keeping your account
  • Downgrade subscription: Cancel your paid plan and use the free features
  • Contact support: If you're experiencing bugs or issues, our team may be able to help
